Stress is very complexed and is can caused many different emotions for many different reasons. Here are a few ways you can reduce your stress and get some much needed relaxation.

Many stress reducing activities help to restore your inner peace and can easily be done with little physical activity required.
Deep breathing and meditation are great stress reliving exercises because when you breathe in deeply it sends a message to your brain to calm down and relax. Relaxation reverses the effects of stress such as, fast breathing, high blood pressure, anxiety and increased heart rate.

Attempting to relax in a chaotic space or cluttered environment can also effect your stress levels and disrupt your peace. Stressful people in your environment can drain you of all of your energy and ruin your day. Enjoying the physical act of cleaning when you're stressed promotes relaxation while providing the satisfaction of a cleaner environment. Additionally, emotional detachment may be needed in order to protect yourself from unwanted drama and anxiety.

Laughing is a natural medicine that producing a sense of well-being that improves mood and increases your body's blood flow and defuses anger. When done genuinely laughing can reduce the amount of cortisol, the stress hormone, which is associated with the gaining of belly fat. Laughing also releases endorphins to your brain that make you feel good and boost happiness.
